Frequently asked questions
The questions we always get
Answered with figures and conditions where there are any, and with "it depends, and here is what on" where it genuinely does.
How much does a system cost?
It depends on the scope, and we cannot put a price on this page without lying. What we can tell you is what it depends on: how many types of user there are, how many distinct processes it covers, whether it has to connect to something you already run, and whether it needs to work without internet. A twenty-minute conversation is usually enough for a range; the quote with the exact figure comes afterwards and in writing. What you will not find here is "from S/ 500": that price exists to make you call, not to be honoured.
How long does it take?
Same answer: it depends, and it goes in the quote. A corporate site is nothing like a multi-branch inventory system. What we guarantee is not the exact date, it is that if it is going to slip you will know when we know, and not on the delivery date.
How is it paid?
50% deposit when you approve the quote and 50% on delivery. By bank transfer or mobile wallet; you upload the proof to your panel and we confirm it. On long projects it can be split into more instalments tied to specific stages, and that is agreed in the quote.
Is there a contract?
Yes. It is generated with your project details already filled in: you download it, sign it, upload it and we acknowledge receipt. That acknowledgement is what starts development. And it has to be said: the contract template has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and it carries that notice in the document itself until it has been.
How do I know how my project is going?
You sign in to your panel and look: it shows which stage it is in. It updates when the stage changes, not when you ask. You can write to us whenever you like, but the idea is that you should not have to write to find out.
What if I want to change something mid-project?
Asking costs nothing, and adjustments within what was agreed cost nothing either. What changes the timeline and the price is adding something that was not in the scope, and in that case we quote it separately BEFORE doing it. Nothing you did not approve in advance ever appears on the final invoice.
Is the source code mine?
Yes. Once payment is complete, the code, the access and the data are yours, and that is written into the contract. If tomorrow you want another developer to carry on, you can hand it over. We do not hold on to the code to make sure you come back.
Are hosting and the domain included?
No, and that is deliberate. The domain and hosting are put IN YOUR NAME, with your account and your card, and we configure them. That way, if you leave one day, you take your domain and your site without asking us. We tell you roughly what it costs and help you set it up. What we do not do is put it in our name and bill it back to you with a markup every year.
What happens after delivery?
Faults in something we delivered that did not work as agreed are fixed at no charge; the length of that warranty is in the quote. New features and changes you ask for afterwards are new work and get quoted. If you want ongoing support, a monthly arrangement can be agreed, but it is not required for the system to keep running.
What do you NOT do?
We do not do search engine marketing as a separate service (we do leave the site technically sound). We do not run ad campaigns or manage social media. We do not sell templates. We do nothing that involves accessing a system that is not yours, scraping data from other people’s sites, or sending unsolicited bulk email. And if what you need is done better by software that already exists and costs less than building it, we say so and help you set it up.
Still have a question?
Write to us. If it is a good question, it ends up on this page for the next person who has it.
